Here is the method, very easy, legit and FREE! This will seem like a lot of steps but it should only take you about 5 mins.
You will need:
1. Xbox Silver account (if you dont have 1 make 1, its free)
2. Credit card, Debit Card or Paypal (you wont be charged)
3. This guide :)
First you will need a Xbox Silver account, if you dont have a free silver account create a free account at Xbox.com. This can be a fake account if you prefer since the game codes can be used on your main profile. To get the Silver account to work properly on you need to play at least 1 game using the profile. all you really need to do it sign into the profile on your xbox and start up any game, then you can turn your xbox off again.
Head over to Raptr.com and sign up for a FREE account, enter your Gamertag where is says Xbox Live.
It will show you your stats on xbox wait for them to generate and then click the next button
It will now take you to an "find friends" page, click skip.
You should get a pop up saying you qualify for a Free 1 month Xbox Live Gold membership and 2 free games. Click on claim.
Now go to Xbox.com/raptr and "Get 1 month free now".
On the next screen make sure the radial of $0.00 is selected and scroll to the bottom of the page and click next.
You now have to add a payment option. You can use either a Credit card, Debit card or Paypal.
I have used a Paypal Debit card for all my accounts.
Once you add your will go to a "complete your purchase" page and click confirm purcahse. If you selected Paypal you will be redirected to sign into your paypal.com account and the to the "complete purchase screen".
The next page will be titled as "Xbox live gold" it shows your renewel date to the left side and a "done" button on the bottom right. Under the "Automatic Renewal: ON" click on the "Change" link.
This will take you to the "change Settings Auto Renewal" screen, click "Continue"
The next page with give you the option to set the auto renewal to "off", select the "off" radial and click save changes.
The next page with give you 6 options on why you decided to cancel your membership, pick what ever you want and click "done"
This will take you to the "Raptr Offer" page, make sure you click the "accept" check box and then click "save".
You will now be redirected to Raptr.com, there will be a pop up saying "checking your Xbox Live Status" just click the "X" to close it.
Click on the "Eligible" tab and Your prize should be waiting. Click the "Claim" button and you should get a pop up with 2 codes for your free games.
I have several xbox accounts and have done this with 5 of them with no problems.
