Press and hold the main "Home" button on the bottom of your iDevice. Press and release the "On/Off" button on the top of the iDevice while still holding the "Home" button. Wait for the screen to flash and release both buttons after about a second. Your picture will be taken, and your screen shot will be saved in your image library.
