As part of my "Amazon Gift Card Guide", I have App Trailers and App Redeem as methods of getting amazon credit. The reason I havnt been posting updates regarding those methods is because all my devices had got banned. For what reason I still am not 100% sure... 4. open the app and give it a try

Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC Out a Week Early, Some Users Reporting Patch Issues

If you’ve been following Gearbox, there’s a very good chance you’ve heard about this little lady and fifth character class. The long awaited Mechomancer class’ skill tree came out yesterday, with Gearbox President Randy Pitchford promising us a big surprise in 24 hours before that. Today it was announced that Gaige was available a week sooner than expected and would be released today.

Gaige's DLC was supposed to be released on October 16^th but instead, after weeks of various videos detailing her ECHO logs (voice journals if you’re not up to par on Borderlands 2 vocab) and her very own twitter account, she’s out today for download across all systems.

However it’s been reported that some Xbox 360 users are encountering problems after applying the patch that prepared the game for Gaige. Users are reporting loss of the much coveted golden keys, customization options are being reset and losing items and Badass Ranks. This isn’t guaranteed to happen to everyone, as some Xbox users are reporting that the patch went through fine. It still may be safe to wait until Gearbox investigates to apply it if you are an Xbox user.

Gaige the Mechromancer is free for preorder members and $9.99 or 800 Microsoft points for everyone one else. You can also receive her when you buy the Season Pass for all four announced DLC packs for $30.

Xbox Music launches this month with free ad-supported streaming

Microsoft's Xbox Music service will reportedly launch alongside Windows 8 on October 26, according to anonymous sources speaking with Polygon.

The service will supposedly provide both subscription-based and free ad-supported streaming music plans for Xbox 360, Windows 8 and Windows Phone users. Microsoft SkyDrive integration is also said to factor heavily into the service's functionality, allowing for synced playlists and music libraries across all supported devices.

These claims match an earlier report from last June, in which Bloomberg claimed that Xbox Music would launch with Spotify-like streaming options and cloud storage capabilities. Microsoft did state shortly thereafter that reports of it "launching a new music service on Xbox this fall are inaccurate," only to discontinue certain Zune services the following month.

Personally, all we care about is whether we'll be able to use this new service to watch Girls' Generation videos, regardless of when it actually comes out.

Microsoft Points starting to be phased out

Microsoft has begun removing its Points system as a method of payment for the more traditional real-world cash, which includes the official pricing of applications. This changes the way that users will pay for applications on Windows 8, as prior to an update, the point system was still very much active.

While some may like the point system, it has been widely used for Xbox Live and the Zune Marketplace to buy various forms of media and applications. Roughly 80 Microsoft Points is a dollar. However, in newer Windows 8 builds, applications and media can be paid for on a credit card, with the Microsoft Point system being used as a second option.

As for now, we can confirm that Xbox Live is still using the Microsoft point system as a method of payment, however, we could see things change when Microsoft release the new dashboard update.
