Celebrity Squares Answers for week of August 13th

Celebrity Squares is a site that rewards you for playing a simple celebrity news game. You are asked 15 questions every week and if you get all 15 correct you get a bonus 900 points. You get 60 points for each correct answer and 10 for each wrong answer. Making it a max of 1,800 points per week. The first gift card offered is a $10 Amazon.com or Walmart gift card for 10,000 points, followed by a $15 iTunes Giftcard for 15,000.

When your playing the game, make sure to use the free option not the premium option. They require money for the premium option.

Durango Alpha Tower Arrives on Ebay and is sold for $20,100

With the past few weeks of random Durango Alpha Tower image leaks, user DaE continues to push Microsofts buttons.

On August 12th 2012, a Durango was posted on Ebay by user SuperDaE for $1.00. We caught up with user DaE for a second and asked if he had anything he would like to add to the story, he said "All proceeds go to charity. And by charity, I mean my new car."

For those who do not know what the Durango is, it is the next generation Xbox but it is loaded into a plain PC tower until the final case in completed. This is NOT what the console will look like. This is called an Alpha Tower. It is in no way close to a final product.

The item was listed with a few items, which include the controller and the power supply. Below you can find the Ebay link, which is expected to be pulled down somewhat soon by Ebay or Microsoft.

Battle.net Gets Hacked

A message on Blizzard’s site by none other than Mike Morhaime has stated that there was “an unauthorized and illegal access into our internal network”, with various pieces of data being illegally accessed.  However, there is so far no evidence that any financial or personal information was compromised.
The statement mentions that Battle.net e-mail addresses outside of China were accessed, and that players on North American servers (which also include players in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia) answers to personal security questions and mobile and dial-in authenticator details were also accessed.
While the passwords are encrypted, Battle.net users on North American servers have been advised to change their passwords.  Blizzard will also be prompting users to change their secret question and answers and update their mobile authenticator software.
