Minecraft Documentary will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers

Minecraft: The Story of Mojang has been created by 2 Player Productions after a very successful kickstarter campaign that raised $210,297 of a $150,000 goal.

The original aim of the kickstarter project was to create a 20 minute short film about the opening week at Mojang, giving people an insight into what it's like to start up a new games studio.

But the producers agreed that something great was happening before them and changed the short film into a feature length.

The movie should be available from Saturday 22 December and will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. For users in those countries, check out the Minecraft tile on your Xbox LIVE dashboard for local viewing times and a trailer for the documentary.

Microsoft has finally announced that the FREE download some people have been getting is a trial and on 12/18 it will expire... Odd because the download didnt say anything about a trial and for some accounts is showed 800msp and some showed free. I wonder if they are just trying to cover up a mistake? Guess we will find out more on 12/18

**Listia Update** Got a Score!

So as part of my Amazon Guide to $200+ Free Credit per Month, I have Listia as part of my method. I havent posted for a while because I have been saving up credits to to see what I could get.

I was able to get a bunch of free credit (~100,00 credit = $100) from my Halo 4 App Method as well as making trade with those codes to turn around and sell on Listia for more.

Last night I was able to snag a cheap DSi XL for a Christmas gift.
I was able to get this for only 67,827 credits which comes out to about $67.83 once converted (1000=$1). This is a great deal since we have been looking at getting one and even used they are ~$120.

From watching larger auctions it seems that they go for a lot cheaper meaning you get some great deals on items.

Skrillex Quest! 2 of My Favorite Things Combined!

That’s not a combination I ever thought would happen – Legend of Zelda with the dubstep artist Skrillex. But hey, there have been crazier things in life.
Skrillex Quest is what creator Jason Oda calls an “advergame” – that is, an advertising game. The game was created with the intent of promoting Skrillex’s music. It therefore makes sense that the game is just about as trippy as dubstep music is.
The storyline begins with a speck of dust that has entered the cartridge of the Skrillex Quest. This created a glitch within the game that is like an apocalyptic plague, threatening to destroy the entire game world. You, the hero with the sword, must seek out glitch cubes and annihilate them with a swing of your blade. Eventually, if you make it there, you get to fight a giant glitch-cube that dons Skrillex’s hair and glasses.
It’s a curious game, and it’s got a few cute little fun bits ­– there’s a room where the character kinda steps into the foreground and says “Hello player of this game. I am P1. Please don’t get me killed.”

Halo 4 early adopters to be rewarded

343 Industries are rewarding players who had played Halo 4 before the 20th of November with a free DLC code to unlock the additional six specialisation armours.

In case you don't know, Specialisations are additional sets of armours and abilities that can be obtained after reaching Service Rank 50 in multiplayer. Each Specialisation adds another 10 ranks for players to achieve and comes with unique armour, abilities or tactical upgrades.

Initally 343 Industries was only going to allow players who had purchased the halo 4 Limited Edition to have access to all specialisations at launch, but changed their mind's to help entice fans to pick up a copy of the game on launch day.

Players who qualified for the free DLC will be notified via email by Xbox Live. So for those who think they have a code coming to them, stand by!
